JustListYou can request deletion of your JustList account and associated data even if you no longer have the mobile app.
How to request account deletion
- Email [email protected] from the email address on your JustList account. Use the subject “JustList account deletion request.”
- Tell us that you want your account and associated data deleted. Do not send your password, login code, or identity documents in your first email.
- Our privacy team may ask you to verify that you own the account before acting. We will explain the next steps and any information we must retain.
If you still use the app, you can also go to Profile → Privacy & security → Data export and account deletion to start a request. Sending an email does not require access to the app.
What is deleted or retained
After a valid request, we delete or deidentify active account, profile, and listing data within 90 days, subject to the exceptions below. We may retain limited records for disputes, safety, fraud prevention, security, legal holds, and legal or accounting requirements:
- Messages and interaction records: up to 3 years after the last interaction or account closure.
- Reviews and provider responses: while published; after removal, up to 3 years.
- Safety reports, moderation, and appeals: up to 5 years after closure, or longer for serious repeat abuse or a legal hold.
- Authentication, security, and access logs: up to 2 years.
- Support requests: up to 3 years after closure, or up to 5 years if tied to safety, billing, or a legal dispute.
- Subscription, transaction, tax, and accounting records, if any: up to 7 years or longer if required by law.
- Backups: rotated within 90 days; restored data remains subject to the original deletion restriction.
