JustList Video Content Guidelines

These Video Content Guidelines apply to videos posted or transmitted through JustList, including videos in service listings, profiles, portfolios, reviews, messages, reports, and Provider responses. They supplement the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Service Listing Rules, and Reviews and Content Policy.

1. Authentic and relevant video

1. Post video that truthfully relates to the service, Provider, project, or interaction described. Do not misrepresent who performed work, where it occurred, when it occurred, or the results achieved.
2. Do not present stock footage, a template, a staged event, materially altered footage, or synthetic or AI-generated media as authentic evidence of a Provider's work or a Customer's experience. Clearly disclose material simulation or alteration where it is otherwise permitted.
3. Do not manipulate views, reactions, reports, rankings, or engagement through bots, click farms, coordinated activity, or deceptive incentives.
4. Do not use misleading before-and-after edits, omit material conditions, or make unsubstantiated performance, earnings, safety, licensing, health, or savings claims.

2. Safety and graphic content

1. Do not post graphic injury, gore, cruelty, death, or content that celebrates or encourages violence.
2. Do not depict or encourage dangerous conduct, unsafe tool use, criminal activity, self-harm, or a hazardous demonstration that a reasonable viewer may imitate without essential safety context.
3. Content involving weapons, controlled substances, sexual services, exploitation, or another prohibited service is not allowed. Educational context does not permit a video whose primary purpose is promotion, facilitation, or shock value.
4. Never post sexual content involving a minor, apparent minor, or nonconsenting person. Report an immediate danger to emergency services and report suspected child sexual exploitation through JustList's safety channel.

3. Respect, privacy, and consent

1. Do not post threats, targeted harassment, hate, humiliation, stalking, or content that attacks a person based on a protected characteristic.
2. Obtain appropriate permission before recording or publishing an identifiable person, private residence, workplace, conversation, or project. Recording and consent laws vary by location.
3. Do not expose private contact details, access codes, identity documents, financial information, precise home locations, children's identifying details, or other sensitive information. Blur license plates, addresses, faces, or documents where appropriate.
4. Do not impersonate another person or business, falsely imply endorsement, or use video to evade a block, suspension, report, or verification control.

4. Intellectual property and accessibility

1. Upload only video, music, images, logos, and other material you own or are authorized to use. Giving credit does not replace permission.
2. Do not remove watermarks, ownership notices, or rights-management information.
3. Where practical, add accurate captions or a useful text description so important information is available to people who cannot hear or see the video.

5. Promotion and off-platform diversion

1. Video may describe a listed service but may not contain spam, deceptive redirects, unrelated promotions, pyramid or multi-level marketing recruitment, or instructions for bypassing JustList fees or safeguards.
2. Do not use QR codes, URLs, telephone numbers, or other contact details in video primarily to evade listing rules, moderation, measurement, or applicable commercial terms.

6. Moderation, reports, and appeals

1. JustList may use automated systems, human review, and user reports to restrict, remove, preserve, or refer video content and may limit or suspend accounts under the Terms. Automated tools may make mistakes.
2. JustList does not promise to pre-screen every video or detect every violation. A video's presence does not mean JustList endorses, verifies, or guarantees the content, service, Provider, or result.
3. Report prohibited video through the in-product reporting tool or to [email protected]. If an appeal is available, follow the instructions in the enforcement notice or contact that address with the account, content, and decision involved.
