JustList helps Customers and independent Providers find each other. Online communication and in-person service work can involve fraud, property, financial, and personal-safety risks. No platform can eliminate those risks. Our commitment is to build practical controls, respond to credible reports, and explain the limits of our role.
1. Clear platform role
JustList does not perform or supervise Provider services and is not a party to the Provider-Customer contract. We do not guarantee identity, credentials, licensing, insurance, workmanship, payment, completion, or satisfaction. Users remain responsible for due diligence and safe decisions.
2. Account and contact controls
We may require verified email or telephone information before higher-risk actions such as posting or messaging. Contact information may be masked or revealed only after an intentional action. A verified contact method means that the user controlled it at the time of verification; it does not prove identity or trustworthiness.
3. Listing and behavior screening
We may use rules, automated tools, user reports, and trained reviewers to screen content and behavior for spam, fraud, prohibited services, unsafe material, and policy violations. Automated signals may prioritize or temporarily limit activity, but eligible contested enforcement decisions may receive human review.
4. Credentials and badges
When JustList offers a credential status, the interface will describe what source was checked, the date, scope, expiration, and material limitations. We will not use one generic badge to imply identity, licensing, insurance, and background screening at once. Users should independently confirm credentials with the issuing authority and insurer before work begins.
5. Reports, blocks, and appeals
Users can report a listing, profile, message, review, or safety issue and can block unwanted contact. We triage reports based on apparent severity, immediacy, evidence, history, and legal obligations. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or refer a matter to an appropriate authority.
Where appropriate, a user can appeal an enforcement decision. We may limit information disclosed in an appeal response to protect reporters, investigations, security methods, privacy, or legal process.
6. Review integrity
Review eligibility is tied to a qualifying Platform interaction and is not sold. Positive and negative reviews are subject to the same rules. We prohibit fake reviews, sentiment-conditioned incentives, undisclosed conflicts, review gating, and retaliation for lawful honest reviews.
7. Emergency and law-enforcement cooperation
JustList is not an emergency service. Call 911 if someone is in immediate danger. We evaluate law-enforcement requests for legal validity and scope and may disclose information when required by law or necessary to address an emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury.
We report apparent child sexual exploitation material as required by law and may preserve information in response to valid legal preservation requests.
8. Continuous improvement
Abuse patterns change. We review reports, false positives, appeals, and operational incidents to improve controls. We will avoid publishing safety statistics or effectiveness claims that we cannot substantiate with a defined method and period.
9. Contact
Report non-emergency safety concerns through the Platform or at [email protected]. For account support, contact [email protected]. For law-enforcement requests, contact [email protected].
