JustList Community Guidelines

Effective date: September 8, 2026

JustList helps adults in the United States find and offer services. These Guidelines apply to profiles, listings, messages, reviews, media, reports, and every other interaction on the Platform. They supplement the Terms of Service.

1. Be honest

1. Use accurate identity and business information. Do not impersonate a person, company, government agency, trade, or profession.
2. Describe services, prices, experience, service areas, availability, licenses, insurance, and results truthfully. Do not hide material limits or use bait-and-switch offers.
3. Do not submit forged documents, false credentials, fake engagement, fabricated reviews, or manipulated media.
4. Disclose material relationships and paid endorsements clearly.

2. Treat people with respect

1. Do not threaten, stalk, bully, sexually harass, extort, shame, or repeatedly contact someone after being asked to stop.
2. Do not attack, demean, exclude, or promote hatred against people based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, pregnancy, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, or another protected characteristic.
3. Do not publish graphic violence, credible threats, instructions to cause harm, or praise for violent extremist activity.
4. Disagreements about scope, price, scheduling, payment, or reviews must remain civil. Threats to misuse reports, reviews, chargebacks, law enforcement, or legal process are prohibited.

3. Protect privacy and safety

1. Do not post another person's home address, private phone number, email, financial information, government identifier, medical information, credentials, license plate, or other sensitive information without lawful authority and permission.
2. Do not ask for Social Security numbers, account passwords, one-time security codes, payment-card details, or bank login credentials through Platform messages.
3. Do not upload recordings or images captured where consent is required unless every required person consented.
4. Never exploit or endanger a minor or vulnerable person. Apparent child sexual exploitation material is prohibited and may be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement.

4. Keep communications relevant

1. Use listings and messages for genuine service inquiries and work-related communication.
2. Do not send bulk messages, repeated unsolicited offers, phishing, chain messages, malicious files, or unrelated promotions.
3. Do not use automated messaging or harvesting tools without written permission from JustList.
4. You may move a genuine service discussion off-platform, but do so carefully. JustList cannot review or protect communications that occur elsewhere.

5. Follow content and media rules

1. Use content you own or are authorized to use. Stock or representative media must be labeled when it does not show the Provider's actual work.
2. Media must be relevant to the listed service and must not conceal material limitations or misrepresent results.
3. Disclose materially altered or AI-generated media when an ordinary viewer could otherwise believe it documents actual work, a real person, or an actual result.
4. Do not include pornography, sexual solicitation, exploitation, doxxing, malware, or instructions for unlawful or dangerous conduct.

6. Follow review rules

1. Reviews must describe an honest, first-hand experience and remain relevant to the service interaction.
2. Do not offer or accept compensation conditioned on positive or negative sentiment.
3. Do not review yourself, an employer, employee, close family member, direct competitor, or a business in which you have an undisclosed material interest.
4. Do not pressure a person to post, change, or remove an honest review. A Provider may respond civilly and report a specific policy violation.

7. No fraud or platform abuse

1. Do not create duplicate accounts or listings, misclassify services, stuff keywords, manipulate location, manufacture clicks, or evade posting limits.
2. Do not use JustList for advance-fee scams, fake checks, money transfers, laundering, pyramid schemes, unlawful referral sales, or credential theft.
3. Do not interfere with search, ranking, moderation, reports, security controls, or another user's access.

8. Reporting and enforcement

Use the Platform's report and block tools or contact [email protected]. For an immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service; JustList is not an emergency-response service.

We may remove or limit content, reduce distribution, request information, warn users, restrict features, suspend or close accounts, preserve evidence, issue refunds of JustList fees at our discretion, and contact payment providers or authorities. Serious conduct may result in action after one incident. Repeated or coordinated violations may lead to broader restrictions.

You may appeal an eligible decision using the instructions in the notice or by emailing [email protected]. Enforcement may consider context, severity, history, intent, risk, and applicable law. These Guidelines do not create a promise that every violation will be detected or that the Platform is risk-free.
